International Conference: Sraffa’s Production of Commodities By Means of Commodities 1960-2010. Critique and Reconstruction of Economic Theory
2nd-4th December 2010, Roma Tre University, Faculty of Economics
The year 2010 marked the 50th anniversary of the publication of Production of Commodities by Means of Commodities. On this occasion, the Centro Ricerche e Documentazione 'Piero Sraffa', with the support of the Università degli Studi Roma Tre, promoted an international Conference on Piero Sraffa's work and the theoretical developments that originated from it. The Conference, opened in the presence of Giorgio Napolitano, President of the Italian Republic, was held in Rome, at Roma Tre University, Faculty of Economics, from Thursday 2nd to Saturday 4th December 2010.

PIERANGELO GAREGNANI MEMORIAL LECTURE 2012
Pierangelo Garegnani, literary executor of Piero Sraffa, one of the founders of the Faculty of Economics "Federico Caffè" at Roma Tre University and Director of Centro di Ricerche e Documentazione “Piero Sraffa”, died in Lavagna (near Genoa) on 15 October 2011 at the age of 81.
Centro di Ricerche e Documentazione “Piero Sraffa”, in collaboration with the Faculty of Economics "Federico Caffè", dedicated a day in his memory.

YOUNG RESEARCHERS’ WORKSHOP 2012
The "First Young Researchers’ Workshop of Theoretical and Applied Studies in Classical Political Economy: DISTRIBUTION and AGGREGATE DEMAND" was held in Rome, Roma Tre University, 10-15 September 2012, and was promoted by Centro Sraffa in collaboration with three partner institutions: the Department of Economics of Roma Tre University, the Instituto de Economia of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, the Department of Economics of Korea University. The Workshop, which included lectures, roundtables and young researcher' presentations, was an opportunity for formation and intense exchange both among young participants and between the young and the senior participants.

SUMMER SCHOOL 2018
The first edition of the "SCHOOL OF ADVANCED STUDIES IN THE REAPPRAISAL OF THE SURPLUS APPROACH" was held in Rome, Roma Tre University, 6-14 July 2018, and was promoted by Centro Sraffa in collaboration with the Department of Economics of Roma Tre University. The Summer School, which welcomed PhD students and young scholars with an interest in the modern revival of Classical theory, was meant to provide participants with a deeper understanding of the surplus approach as taken up and developed by Piero Sraffa and subsequent authors.
