POLITICAL ECONOMY Studies in the Surplus Approach

Political Economy. Studies in the Surplus Approach, published from 1985 to 1990 by Rosenberg & Sellier, was launched with the aim of contributing to theoretical reconstruction in political economy along the lines of the classical economists, while stimulating the critique of the dominant theory and promoting the study of policy issues in diverse economic and institutional settings.
Although it ceased publication in 1990, the Journal remains fundamental in the line of research fostered by the Centro di Ricerche e Documentazione “Piero Sraffa”.
We are grateful to the publisher for granting permission for online publication.
