AWARD OF THE PIERANGELO GAREGNANI PRIZE - 2022

The Committee for the Pierangelo Garegnani Thesis Prize 2022, composed of professor Roberto Ciccone, professor Vincenzo Maffeo and professor Riccardo Soliani, having examined the doctoral theses presented by the candidates, expresses satisfaction for the high quality of all the works.

Basing its judgement on the contents, congruence with the lines of research developed by Pierangelo Garegnani and prospects for further work along these lines, the Committee awards the Pierangelo Garegnani Thesis Prize 2022 ex aequo to:

Dr Santiago Gahn, for the doctoral thesis "Three essays on effective demand and capacity utilisation";

Dr Alessandro Le Donne, for the doctoral thesis "The complex link between individual agency and economic theory".

Centro Sraffa would like to thank all the young scholars who have presented their work and whose participation contributes to expressing the vitality of the orientation which inspires the Prize.
